June 15, 2021

AS of June 15, 2021 here are the updates to pool rules for Covid compliance:

We will no longer be required to have a social distance monitor.  We will, however,  still have a gate monitor for guest registration as  guests will now be allowed  at the pool in accordance with our usual guest protocol. Please see the section for guests on the website.

There will no longer be a capacity restriction.

Masks should  be worn according to CDC state and county guidelines . Please see attached link for detailed guidelines:

Covid guidelineshttps://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx

You no longer need to sign up for Open Swim, but you still please sign up for Lap Swim on Sign-Up Genius. You may not book more than TWO TIME SLOTS AT A TIME.  Please only reserve one slot per lane unless you are having multiple members of a family in one lane. Two non-related swimmers will now be allowed in each lane. As a courtesy to others, please cancel any reservations you will not be using.

We strongly recommend setting up a Signup Genius account before you attempt to reserve a time. Make reservations HERE (members only - must be logged in).

A household can take up to two active reservations for lanes at a time, either consecutive or multiple days.  Your household/membership may not have more than two reservations in the system at any given time.

Adults do not need a reservation for pool time to enter and use the pool grounds.

Other than that, the following rules will govern use of the pool while this order is in place:

  • Locker rooms may be used with required social distancing and masks. Showers are now open.
  • No sharing of communal equipment between households.
  • The play-structure and basketball court may be used only when Swim Team is not in session.
  • Minimum age unaccompanied by an adult is 9 years. 16 y/o can bring younger members of household but must be responsible for them at all times. Please see complete rules for unaccompanied children here
  • CDC guidelines around face coverings and social distancing will apply. We interpret this to mean that masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals while outside, but should be worn  by all members when coming into close contact with other households and when inside (such as in the bathrooms),
  • Picnic tables and barbecues will be available but have been moved farther apart from each other.  Members are encouraged to bring cleaning supplies and wipe down everything they've used while at the pool.
