2008 MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

LOCATION: 72 El Toyonal, Orinda, CA 94563

FACILITIES: Recreational swimming, Lap swimming, Free Swim Lessons for nonswimmers, Swim Team, BBQ and Picnic Area and a Canteen.

HOURS/SEASON: Generally 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Sunday through Saturday during the summer months. Hours are adjusted according to weather and membership use for the other months. The pool is open from April 26th through October 4th, weather permitting.

DUES/ASSESSMENT: The dues for membership are as follows. Family ($645.00), Senior Family ($535.00), Single ($505.00), Senior Single ($405.00). A Senior or Senior Family membership is available to anyone 65 and over. An additional $100 is required for an Au Pair, Babysitter, or Renter that will use the pool. An assessment fee for improvements to the pool structure was added beginning of 1998. The pool was completely rebuilt and upgrades were made to some of the areas surrounding the pool in 2006. The current assessment is an annual payment of $385.00 for Senior and Senior Family members and $610.00 for Family and Single members. This assessment fee will be in effect for a minimum of fifteen years in order to pay off the loans in place following the construction.

STOCK CERTIFICATE: Each member purchases a stock certificate valued at $900.00. There is a one time transfer fee of $350.00 paid for at the time of purchase by the buyer. You may sell your stock certificate for the value of the certificate, based on the date of sale, at any time, however, there may be a waiting list to sell your membership. In that case, dues and assessment are still due on March 1, but will be refunded on a prorated basis at the time of sale.

ORGANIZATION: Orinda Park Pool is a nonprofit corporation organized under the Bylaws of Orinda Park, Inc.

HOW TO JOIN: Download and print the OPP Membership Application Form. Fill it out and mail with a check for $25.00 (application fee) to:
